Low expansion top foam generator with a pourer ГПНС

GPNPS - low expansion top foam generator (over-the-top pourer) is used for fire extinguishing in storage tanks containing oil, oil products, and other liquids and is designed for installation on storage tanks with floating roofs.

GPNPS is a self-contained unit which generate low expansion foam from foam-forming solution by mixing the solution with atmospheric air in proportion dictated by the unit design. Absence of movable parts accounts for its high reliability.

Being mounted above the storage tank walls on the ledge of the upper ring the generator does not restrain the movement of the floating roof. The generator is connected to the water solution supply pipeline by means of standard flange DN 50.

Due to its unsophisticated mounting fittings and small weight the generator is easy to lift onto the top of the storage tank, the whole installation procedure is also very simple.

Installation of the generator does not require interruption of the tank operational process (whenever there are mounting holes in the ledge of the storage tank upper ring).

The diagonal cut of the air intake pipe of the generator ensures protection of the generator air supply lines from rain and snow.

The generator calibration within its min. and max. limits is carried out at factory in accordance with the customer’s flow and pressure specifications..
